Thaumatrope

A thaumatrope is a toy that has two pictures on it, one on either side and is attached by two pieces of string and when it is rotated rapidly is creates the illusion that the two images are merged together. Making one is very simple, first you need to get you two images and place one on one part of the card and the other must be placed on the other side upside down. If it isn't placed upside down it won't create the illusion of the two images merged together. Then you need to punch holes in the card where the string is and then attach the string and tie it on and after this the thaumatrope is completed and then you can use it and it should create the illusion of the two images becoming one.
