John Barnes Linnett

John Barnes Linnett was a British lithograph printer who was the first person to patent the idea of a flip book despite Pierre-Hubert Desvignes being credited as the person who created the flip book. He patented the idea in 1868 under the name the kineograph after Linnett died his wife sold the patent to an American. These flip books are some of the first he created and even though these were created in the early days they are a lot more complex and impressive than I thought they would be especially when it wasn't easy to create these as people didn't know whether they could be done like these have been.
